Organizations, scheduled work, and cloud video

Ownership moved to the organization, the agent learned to work on a schedule, and long video exports stopped tying up your machine.

  • NewOrganizations own the work — projects, plans and permissions all sit on the org, and a new one opens with a house mark instead of a generic glyph.
  • NewScheduled tasks: hand the agent a prompt and a cadence, then read the plan back as a list, a day, a week or a month.
  • NewPresent a frame — the interactive player is now reachable from the frame menu and the command palette.
  • NewBrands — a reusable library of logos and design systems the agent can pull from while it works.
  • NewTilt the board into 3D with Shift + Space + drag. You still edit in 2D; only the view moves.
  • NewA first-run guide that teaches the canvas on the canvas, plus file and link import straight onto the board.
  • NewPublish and schedule to every connected channel from Share, with the composer inlined instead of stacked in a separate window.
  • NewA developer API with complete REST documentation, and a pricing page that sells the real plans.
  • BetterThe canvas holds 60fps at any board size — measured against Figma rather than guessed at.
  • BetterVideo renders on hosted infrastructure, with real progress, cancellation and retry.
  • BetterAgent edits are visible as they land, and you can interrupt a run mid-flight.
  • BetterThe macOS installer got a designed window, and the desktop app opens on a welcome screen.
  • FixedA Windows update can no longer half-delete the app.
  • FixedPaid organizations are never orphaned when a plan lookup goes wrong.
  • FixedText: right-to-left caret position, click placement offset, and selection after clicking empty canvas.
  • FixedAudio tracks survive across deck slides, and exports survive a cleared flip state.

Plugins, publishing, and a home worth opening

Fifty-odd apps became connectable in one place, scheduled publishing went live, and the projects view was rebuilt around a sidebar.

  • NewThe App Directory — connect 50+ apps, either as an MCP server over real OAuth or with your own API key, and the agent picks up their tools on its next session.
  • NewConnect social accounts directly: Meta and Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • NewContent scheduling end to end, with Bluesky and Meta publishing for real.
  • NewProject tabs — several projects open side by side, and a clipboard that crosses them: copy in one tab, paste in another.
  • NewShy, the agent mascot, in the dock and on the site.
  • NewAn in-app help widget with real tickets behind it, and an admin inbox to answer them.
  • NewDocumentation written for humans and agents, plus a Templates panel and a Media library docked beside the Inspector.
  • NewExport decks as exact PDFs and playable PPTX. Settings opens on Cmd + comma; home themes and a usage meter arrived with it.
  • BetterThe projects view: a sidebar hub, previews that appear instantly because they are cached stills rather than a grid of live iframes, and names worth keeping.
  • BetterThe Share menu became one calm surface instead of three bolted-together widgets.
  • BetterThe editor header floats, the mode tabs became a corner dock, and Layers and Media replaced Components in the sidebar.
  • FixedVideo clip audio actually plays — and stays wired after you leave and re-enter Video mode.
  • FixedBrowser exports are capture-faithful, keep deck audio, and no longer depend on a CDN to animate.
  • FixedRelease preparation stopped failing on every single attempt. It was two unrelated causes wearing one symptom.

Comments, shapes, and one exporter

The canvas grew comments and a proper shape set, export collapsed into a single browser-based path, and Video mode arrived.

  • NewComments on the canvas, with replies, author-owned actions and an unread dot for collaborators.
  • NewStar, polygon and arrow tools, gradients in every fill, and your operating system’s own colour picker one click away.
  • NewAI image generation on the canvas, behind a single media tool that edits in place instead of piling up orphans.
  • NewVideo mode: a full non-linear editor, with an agent that can cut it for you.
  • NewA command palette, keyboard shortcuts, undo toasts and font search.
  • NewPages became titlebar tabs, and the whole product settled on one vocabulary: Project → Page → Frame → Layer.
  • NewThe Shyne marketing site went live, and the Shyne✦ mark landed across the site and the app.
  • BetterOne exporter. Everything renders in the browser now, behind a single clean Export panel.
  • BetterThe inspector lost a dozen controls it never needed and grouped what remained under Effects.
  • BetterThe agent’s tool surface went from 155 tools to 23 — fewer, better-named, easier for it to choose between.
  • BetterA signed-out visitor who tries to edit is asked to sign in, rather than quietly losing the change.
  • FixedZoom renders sharp again at every level.
  • FixedDragging a frame into an overlapping frame reparents to the one you meant.
  • FixedFonts match across live editing, export and screenshots — one family everywhere.
  • FixedDeck thumbnails stopped flickering and refresh when they should.

Zoom, pan, and spacing you can see

The first week in the buildlog. The canvas got the navigation controls it was missing, and the agent got a cloud to run in.

  • NewA zoom slider on the canvas, and zoom shortcuts that use the right modifier for the machine you are on.
  • NewA Hand tool for panning, next to Select in the toolbar.
  • NewAlt-hover spacing guides — hold Alt over an object to measure the gaps around it.
  • NewPage Color in the inspector, and font families that preview in their own typeface.
  • NewThe desktop app grew a projects home and frameless window chrome.
  • BetterNew text boxes open straight into editing.
  • BetterFrame drag and resize handles are easier to hit, and one toggle collapses both sidebars.
  • BetterUploads accept any file type, and the image tool opens the picker instead of waiting for a drag.
  • BetterFree mode is now Canvas, and Pages mode is Paged.
  • FixedDropping a frame into another frame reparents correctly.
  • FixedThe frame duplication shortcut works again.
  • FixedCropping shows a dimmed preview of what you are cutting away.

The log starts on 30 June 2026, the week the canvas took its current shape. Anything before that is prehistory.
