Mas Abdi is a founder and engineer with a PhD and a background in consulting. He built NextDocs to take the formatting work out of professional documents — and watched users ask for something bigger: not better files, but a place where their team and their AI could design together. Shyne is that place.
Shyne is the third act of a product lineage that started with a resume builder and kept following what people actually did with AI.

ChatGPT proved AI could write. But professional work isn't text — it's documents, decks, and campaigns with structure, layout, and a brand. The making was still manual.
Our first product — an AI resume and cover letter builder. It hit its first revenue milestone quickly and proved people wanted AI in the making, not just the writing.
We relaunched as NextDocs — an AI-native editor that generates multiple polished versions of documents and slides from a single prompt. Compare, choose, and refine.
NextDocs reached $100K in annual recurring revenue with consultants, founders, and teams. It also taught us the limit of files: people didn't want a better document generator. They wanted a studio.
We started building Shyne: one infinite canvas where your team and AI agents with real presence design everything your brand makes — and publish it from the same surface.
Most AI tools hand you a finished file and call it collaboration. Shyne puts the agent on the canvas with you: it designs beside your cursor, its edits land in the same history you can undo, and everything it makes follows your brand kit. Bring your own Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini — or use ours.
Shyne is being built by the team behind NextDocs, carrying everything we learned from 60,000+ creators. The live canvas, agent presence, brand kits, the video timeline, and in-browser MP4 rendering are already real — and the product is getting ready for launch.

Shyne is developed by Contentable Pty Ltd, an independent software company based in Sydney, Australia — the company behind NextDocs. The product is founder-led and built with a small group of specialized collaborators across AI, infrastructure, and design. We keep the team small so we can move quickly and sweat the details.
